Description

Come Home to Golf in the Mountains of West Virginia.

West Virginia with its laid-back mountain courses can make you fall in love all over again with golf. Golf here moves at a leisurely and natural pace, and the courses follow the lay of the mountains and the valleys. Every course seems to have its own unique style.

Live where you play at the country clubs and golf communities of this state.

In West Virginia you’ll find one of the world’s top-ranked golf resorts, the Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs that has drawn visits from presidents as well as PGA stars. The Greenbrier Sporting Club is members-only with a number of gated neighborhoods. Members play on The Snead, designed by Tom Fazio and named after Sam Snead, once the Greenbrier pro. But three other courses are also available at the resort.

Among other gated communities where you can live and golf is Glade Springs Village in the Alleghenies with a championship course, a private lake and nearby ski resort.

This state is also home to the Pete Dye Golf Club, ranked in the top 100 courses in the U.S. by Golf Magazine. This private non-equity national club has non-resident members from all over the world.
